Day and night

I think of You

I talk to You

Throughout the day

Every night

Spoken out loud

Or silently in my thoughts

Lord, You are in my thoughts

Break my heart

Keep breaking my heart

Use me and mistreat me

Talk behind my back

Ignore me

And act like I'm not there

But you won't change me

I'll keep my heart on my sleeve

I will give all I can

I'll do whatever I can

I won't stop caring

And won't stop sharing

Been there 

Done that

Think I've seen it all

I've seen more than most

I've been weak

Still feel weak sometimes

I'm starting to come

Out of the dark

Heading for the light

Looking for love

Trying to let love in

And trying to love back

After what I've seen

And hearing what I've heard

It's not easy to let you in

Still unsure so many times

Afraid of more heartache

Love is around

I think I feel it

I'm trying

If it's not too much to ask

Be patient with me
