I'm never phony

I believe in being real

I wear my heart on my sleeve

And care so very much

My heart is in my writing

As well as in my photos

My heart is there for my friends

I am a truly loyal friend

So when you want to use me

Mistreat me or walk all over me

Do not forget

There are fights worth fighting

But other times we need to walk away

Know when to bite your tongue

But when to speak up

Treat others the way you want them to treat you

Be good to them and hopefully they'll be good to you

Break my heart if you must

But I'll keep my heart on my sleeve

People will do whatever they do

I refuse to let others change me

I will stay true to my heart

And true to my beliefs

We all feel we can take no more

Some feel this more

Others feel it less

You may feel alone

But you are not alone

Someone cares

We just have to find them

Giving up is easy

But some things

Are worth fighting for

Don't give up

Things will get better

Hang in there

And hold on

Sharing a meal

With family and friends

Spending time with a friend

Even if you’re just watching TV

The beauty of nature

Don’t just look

Actually notice it

Life goes too fast

Enjoy the beauty in things

How can you help

Any way you want
